While the style of this book is simple in both its message and layout and you could be forgiven, at times, for thinking that the author has transcribed a series of her key notes; this book is deceptive and does have impact.

Based on the overall flavour and tone of her book I am quite sure Terry’s speaking style is infectious and packs a punch.

Being somewhat of a personal growth junkie

over the years much of the message of this book was not new to me however it did start to “get to me” about half way through and I really shouldn’t be that surprised given the author’s background in NLP which has a reputation for seeping into your subconscious!!

Underlying her key messages, Terry’s passion for youth is evident and I would heartily recommend this book to parents for their teens; having read it themselves first (no hardship in terms of its length or content).

While Terry’s repetitive style did annoy me somewhat the keys points that she wished to remind the reader of are simple but powerful messages and, again, if the brain is rewired through repetition then this book is sure to be a success for that end goal alone.

Perhaps consider this book as a family gift from ‘Santa’s helper’ and let everyone around you benefit.
