To begin with, starting your own business is not an easy task. It takes patience, commitment and hard work. You'll probably work harder than you did at your 9-5 job. There will be stressful times, great times, and even more stressful times! But none of that matters because in the end the benefits far outweigh the means.

ans Serif">It seems that many people have visions of owning their own businesses, living their own life, telling their boss where to go and sipping champagne on their yacht while drifting through the Greek Islands. The problem is, while their dreams are genuine, most of these people never make the decision to take action. They will go to seminars and expos, they will buy home business/franchise magazines, listen to empowerment tapes, read inspiring quotes and lay in bed at night dreaming of their better life, but for most of them that is ALL they will do. Inspiring quotes in particular are great, but there is only ONE quote that you need in your life. You can forget all the other trinkets of hope and pearls of wisdom you may have come across, for there are only 3 words that you need, and chances are you have heard them before. The 3 words spawned from a branding exercise by the mega-selling giant 'Nike', and have gone on to become one of the most recognized slogans in the world: 'Just do it'. The problem is, even with the insane visibility and marketing of this slogan, most people just don't take heed of this important message. The main reason most people don't turn their dreams of grandeur into reality is that they don't take the plunge; they don't make that crucial decision and take a risk. Instead, thoughts such as "I've got time, I'll do it next year", "It's just not the right time" and "It's too hard" seem to take over. No success story comes without risks and tough times. The tough times only make the success much more enjoyable when you finally get there, because without tasting the sour you can't taste the sweet.
