From the wardrobe audits I do...

EmailEmail

From the believe it or not category...  the average wardrobe holds around $8000 worth of unused or underused clothing.   The calculation from  www.FatCat.com.au makes this assessment or the presumption that most women own 100 significant items of clothing.   If the average cost of each piece is $100 (totaling $10,000) and if the owner is only wearing 20% of the clothes 80% of the time, $8000 is being wasted.  Worth thinking about.

That is based on the 80/20 rule, but from the wardrobe audits I do, it seems that most people wear only 10 per cent of their wardrobe 90 per cent of the time.
