When you are working on creating the life you are envisioning, it is important to genuinely FEEL positive as this will help to attract more positive things into your life.
One way of consciously generating a space of positive vibrations for yourself, is by practicing generosity. This can truly create an amazing shift.
In my daily life, I have made it a habit of doing little acts of generosity as I know it makes me feel really positive and abundant to give something to someone. Important in this respect to realize, is that being generous doesn't necessary mean giving away money. It can be offering to baby sit for friends who can really use a break, letting someone go first in line or giving someone a genuine compliment.
Or how about remembering someone’s birthday by sending them a card or giving them a call? Often it actually is these non financial gestures that are appreciated most by the people around you. Being generous not only makes YOU feel good it makes OTHERS feel good too. The funny thing is: the more you give the more you receive, so you will attract even more positive things to you! This creates a wonderful positive spiral of giving and receiving.
Another great way of being generous is being a “present listener”. Really listening to what someone else is saying without waiting for a pause to jump in with your own story...
So this week, I invite you to take one conscious act of generosity a day!
