If you own a domain name for your business, even if it does not have a web site on it, make sure your email address is based on this domain.
Well there is a very simple way you can achieve this.
Just ask!
I know, I know, I hear you … there is a whirlwind of comments and criticisms coming up in your head right now that you want to throw at me.
But just hear me out. Because the powerful, yet very simple technique I am going to share with you has made me stacks of money, has seen me go on numerous overseas trips over the last 5 years with my family, has allowed me to achieve my dream life, has provided me with a happier and more fulfilled life, and has helped me to work out how I can live that magical balanced life of fitting in work, family, friends, health, fun … into the limited time in the day.
Essentially this one smart strategy has helped me to create a better business and a better life for myself and my family.
You see, what I am talking about here is asking yourself directed questions. Have you heard of this concept before? Well if you haven’t, here is what I am talking about.
A directed question is a question that you ask of your subconscious mind that you do not expect an answer from straight away. For example, the question “What street do I live in?” is not a directed question because your logical brain can answer that straight away. It has a definite answer. On the other hand, “What is the most productive task for me to do today to make the most money possible?” is a directed question.
It is a question that is being asked of your subconscious mind to work on and to answer at a later time.
I heard about this technique about 8 years ago now from one of my multi-millionaire mentors, but it wasn’t until 3 years ago that I started to consistently use this technique and it has absolutely changed my life.
It is actually what every successful person does, whether they know they are doing it or not. Some people will just naturally ask directed questions of themselves without even knowing it.
Here are some more directed questions to give you some inspiration:
Have you ever been in a situation that you thought you couldn’t get out of and you were so scared and petrified of what was going to happen if you didn’t come up with a solution? Well I sure know I have, plenty of times!
Did it ever get to the point where you would collapse on the table in a big frazzled mess and scream:
“What can I do to fix this?”
What happened? Did you find an answer in the end? I know when I have been in this situation, a little after I have asked the question, out of nowhere I get all these ideas that just pop into my head that have been there all along that I can use to solve the problem. To me, it really feels like magic.
So now I don’t see problems anymore, I only see challenges that need a solution, and when I have one of those challenges I just ask a directed question. I have faith that the answer will come, not straight away, but it will come in the next few days, and 99% of the time it does come, just like magic.
Kim, you are so right about "putting it out there". Irrespective of whether it is "magic" or "science" (actually, one person's magic is another's science), the point is, it works. We also like your attitude with regard to not seeing problems, but rather challenges that can be overcome. We look forward to seeing some other comments from Bizbuzzers on how this has worked for them.
