When you hear or see these words, Determination, Persistence, Courage and Adversity; what triggers in your mind? What do they mean to you?

Recently, I was privileged to experience a gentlemen by the name of Dan Caro tell his ‘inspiring’ story. It touched me like nothing else on earth, it sent shivers down my spine, it brought a tear to my eye and it taught me that I have no right to complain as there is always someone else who is worse off than I.

If after watching you don’t think having Determination, Persistence, Courage and overcome Adversity as part of your mantra, your philosophy, your being then I suggest you watch the video again and again until you do.

Dan re-enforced for me that stress is self created and that there is no reason to ever give up. One perfect example of that, it took Dan 2,555 days (7 years) to learn to tie up his shoe laces, one could excuse him for quitting at any point during that time, he didn’t and now he is a world class drummer to boot, which he displayed in fine style on stage.

A great comment that Dan made which I took away - “I don’t justify my life by someone else’s views.” Take a moment to think about that.....

Dan, you are the epitome of Determination, Persistence, Courage, (overcome) Adversity and much more, I thank you for sharing your story!

The question is: "What are you willing to persist with in your life/business to have the success you desire and deserve?"

Showing Determination, Persistence, Courage and fighting to overcome Adversity is how anyone achieves anything of substance in life.
